Diana Ivankovic
Therapist
I am a BACP registered, trauma informed counsellor with a MSc in CBT. Working with mind and body in unison, I will help you explore current patterns of thinking that are keeping you stuck.
Counselling and therapy offer us tools to help understand how some of those thinking patterns that we have internalised as our own have come into existence. When life does not live up to our expectations and plans and when our ambitions are unfulfilled, we may become frustrated with ourselves. This can lead into feelings of futility and unhappiness which can affect how we relate to others.
Exploring how you may have learned to cope with unexpected or adverse life experiences that were out of your control will give you a distinct perspective on your life. Beginning to accept that the way you adapted as a child may have been necessary and logical then, but it is limiting you now. We will explore just what that new you could think like, feel like and how they might behave as a result.
