John Hutchin

Therapist

I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor/ psychotherapist. I create a safe and fertile space to help people know themselves better, and to explore the possibility of change.

In sessions we will look at who you are, where you have come from, and who you would like to be. In this non judgmental and compassionate space all of you is welcome.

I draw on the person centred approach, psychodynamic theories, Internal Family Systems, work on nervous system states e.g. Polyvagal theory, and yoga and Buddhist philosophy to inform my work, adapting to the needs of my clients.

I also work as a supervisor for therapists and counsellors, and work with trainee counsellors.

Areas of interest

I’m very experienced in working with men and the LGBTQIA+ community, but am open to working with all. My main areas of interest include working with self esteem issues, relationship issues, addictive behaviours, psychedelic preparation and integration, anger issues, bullying, stress and burnout plus many others.
