Atalanta Dickinson
Thai Yoga Massage
My bodywork practice is rooted in Thai Yoga Massage and Osteothai, blending Eastern understandings of energy flow with a Western emphasis on anatomy, technique and precision.
Working on the floor, I use gravity, pressure, movement and hands-on listening to support the body in releasing tension and restoring ease. Sessions may include assisted stretches, rocking, gentle shaking, deep tissue release, and still, attentive holding - always guided by what your body is asking for in the moment.
This work is especially supportive for people experiencing stress, overwhelm, emotional holding, chronic tension, fatigue, digestive discomfort, or a sense of disconnection from their body.
The treatment is designed to help regulate the nervous system, deepen the breath, improve mobility and circulation, and create a greater sense of grounding, softness, and flow throughout the body. Many people leave feeling lighter, calmer, more spacious in themselves, and more connected to their centre.
Areas of Interest
I also offer abdominal-focused treatments using oil-based techniques to release tension held in the belly and organs - an area where many of us store physical and emotional stress. This work can be particularly supportive for digestive issues, menstrual pain, emotional processing, and reconnecting to the body’s core and instinctive intelligence.
With over 10 years of experience working as a Yoga and movement teacher, I may also offer exercises that you can do at home to support the lasting effects of the treatment.
